About the Artist
Lorie Kuhn has been an active member of the Professional
Photographers Association of Greater Kansas City
(PPA-GKC) and Professional Photographers of
America (PPA) since 1997. She currently serves as secretary
of Professional Photographers of America - Greater Kansas City where
she has served since 1999.
Lorie’s work has been selected for exhibition at the
PPA National Convention every year since 1999. Her work also was
recognized in 2003 at the National Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada
with two of Lorie's prints being selected for and published in the
prestigious Loan Collection and General Collection. Lorie is PPA Certified and
has earned a Master Photographer Certificate with the Professional Photographers
of America.
Lorie shares her love of photography by presenting
programs to various social and civic clubs. Lorie
makes her home in Kansas City with her husband,
Lee and her two children, Jaclyn and Michael.
She continues her education by attending
photographic workshops and conventions yearly.
